Stores Clerk – Nairobi
Description
As a Stores Clerk, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of their stores
department. You will ensure that goods are properly arranged for dispatch, received, and
recorded accurately. Your role is crucial in maintaining the efficiency and organization of our
inventory management system.
Key Responsibilities
- Arrange goods for dispatch in an orderly and timely manner.
- Receive finished goods and ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Arrange products according to FIFO (First-In-First-Out) requirements.
- Record all goods received on stock cards.
- Maintain minimum and maximum stock levels of all finished and outsourced goods.
- Report all non-conforming products within the store to the head of department.
- Adhere to company policies and core values.
- Follow stores standard procedures meticulously.
- File goods allocation slips accurately.
- Receive returns from the quality assurance department and update records accordingly.
Requirements
- Minimum of Diploma in supply chain management or any related course.
- Proven experience as a Stores Clerk or in a similar role.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with inventory management software and stock control procedures.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
