Smart sales is a Kenyan-based sales company working with entrepreneurs who want to grow their companies by increasing their capacity to sell.
Purpose of the role
- Grow new business revenue by acquiring new customers and activating dormant customers
- Account management by keeping existing customers buying.
Key responsibilities:
- Meet established company sales targets
- Research and identify potential leads within target industries and organizations to contribute to our pipeline.
- Establish rapport and build relationships with key contacts and decision-makers.
- Qualify these leads by uncovering customer pain points and effectively communicating how our solutions can address their needs.
- Negotiate sales, package discounts, and long-term contracts with clients.
- Gain familiarity with multiple industries, and stay updated on sales trends and innovative products for our clients.
- Drive the end-to-end sales process.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in a similar role.
- 2-3 years corporate sales experience especially in technology sales.
- Relevant degree or diploma.
- Experience in the financial sector
- Intuitive and insightful, particularly regarding human behavior.
- Ability to generate revenue by identifying pain points and suggesting suitable products or services.
- Great networking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software such as Microsoft Suite
- Proficiency in CRM usage
- Resourceful, with outstanding research skills.
