Role Description
- Deliver exceptional healthcare services that align with Angama’s company philosophies of Respect, Courage, Honesty, Ubuntu and Joy
- Conduct thorough medical assessments, diagnoses, and treatments for all staff, guests, and community members
- Maintain a clean and organized clinic, ensuring all medical equipment and supplies are in good working condition
- Foster cooperation across the hospitality and medical teams
- Communicate effectively with all departments to ensure a seamless guest and staff experience
- Engage with staff, guests and community members daily, ensuring their comfort, safety, and healthcare
- Uphold high standards of medical care, as well as operational and administrative excellence at all times
- Drive high standards through consistent training and health education
- Design moments of care that leave Angama Mara’s guests and staff feeling secure and well-taken care of
- Lead healthcare initiatives on property, and share important healthcare
Key Qualities of the Successful Candidate:
- Demonstrated proficiency in clinical medicine, with a deep understanding of patient care and treatment
- A strong commitment to caring for guests, staff and community members by exceeding their expectations and ensuring their well-being
- A meticulous approach to maintaining operational standards and delivering high-quality medical care
- A readiness to adapt to changing circumstances and embrace a culture of continuous improvement
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage with all patients, understand their needs, and convey information clearly
- A willingness to work collaboratively with other team members and across departments to ensure a seamless experience for all, showcasing a team-oriented approach
Key Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Clinical Officer, preferably in a high-touch hospitality or remote setting
- Diploma or Degree in Clinical Medicine from a recognized institution
- Certification and registration with the Clinical Officers Council of Kenya
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- A proven track record of delivering excellent patient care and customer service
