Human Resources Manager at Socialmeds Digital
Description
This is a full-time role for a Human Resources Manager, based in Nairobi with flexibility for some remote work. As the HR Manager, you will oversee and manage all HR functions, playing a critical role in developing and implementing HR strategies that foster a positive, high-performance workplace.
This position offers flexibility to work both remotely and on-site.
Key responsibilities
- HR Framework Development: design and implement HR policies, procedures, and systems to establish a solid HR structure that supports company growth, fosters a strong organizational structure and creates a high performance culture.
- Recruitment and Talent Acquisition: lead recruitment efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding top talent, ensuring alignment with the agency’s needs and culture.
- Employee Relations and Engagement: act as a key point of contact for employees, fostering a positive work environment through conflict resolution, employee engagement initiatives, and performance management.
- Training and Development: develop and implement training programs to enhance skills, promote career growth, promote coaching and mentorship, and improve overall organizational performance.
- HR Compliance and Reporting: ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, maintain accurate HR records, and provide regular HR reports and insights to senior management.
You will work closely with the COO to establish a structured, supportive, and motivating environment where our team of digital marketing professionals can thrive.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
- 3 years minimum HR experience (marketing agency experience is a plus)
- A passion for fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
- HR management skills
- Knowledge of HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and benefits administration
- Experience in creating and delivering training programs
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
