Description

The Technical Sales Engineer for Water Solutions is responsible for driving sales and providing technical expertise for water treatment products and services. This role involves understanding customer needs, providing tailored solutions, and working closely with engineering teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales and Business Development:
  • Identify and target potential clients in the water solutions sector, including municipal, industrial, and commercial customers.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Present and promote water treatment solutions, including systems, equipment, and services, to meet customer needs and business objectives.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations, proposals, and demonstrations to clients.
  1. 2. Technical Expertise and Solution Design:
  • o Analyze customer requirements and provide technical recommendations for water treatment solutions, including filtration, purification, and wastewater treatment systems.
  • o Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to design customized solutions and ensure alignment with customer specifications.
  • o Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine the best solutions for specific applications.

3. Project Management and Implementation:

  • o Coordinate with internal teams to manage the implementation and delivery of water treatment solutions.
  • o Oversee the installation process, including troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues that arise.
  • o Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the client’s satisfaction.

4. Customer Support and Relationship Management:

  • o Provide ongoing support to clients, including training on system operation and maintenance.
  • o Address and resolve any post-sales issues or concerns, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • o Gather and analyze customer feedback to improve product offerings and services.

5. Market Research and Strategy:

  • o Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitive products.
  • o Contribute to the development of sales strategies and marketing materials.
  • o Participate in trade shows, conferences, and industry events to network and promote the company’s solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental, or related field) or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in technical sales, with a focus on water treatment solutions or similar technical products.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of water treatment technologies, including filtration, disinfection, and wastewater treatment processes.
  • Sales Skills: Proven track record in sales and business development, with the ability to close deals and achieve targets.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Customer Focus: Strong customer service skills and a commitment to providing high-quality solutions and support.
  • Project Management: Experience managing projects from inception to completion, with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel as required for client meetings, site assessments, and trade shows
