
Warehouse Clerk at Allpack Industries Limited
Description
The Warehouse clerk will be responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. The role also involves using inventory systems, providing accurate record-keeping, and contributing to the smooth running of the warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Updating finished goods stocks.
- Generating invoices and delivery notes.
- Tracking daily deliveries.
- Organize and maintain stock in designated storage areas.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer requirements and company standards.
- Ensure proper documentation of outgoing shipments.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure adherence to company policies and industry regulations.
- Ensure safe and responsible operation of warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
- Maintain accurate logs of warehouse activities, including shipping, and stock movements.
- Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports on stock levels, shipments, and inventory issues.
- Coordinate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure smooth flow of goods.
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience of at least 2 years experience as a warehouse clerk.
- A minimum of Diploma in Warehouse Management, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field from a reputable institution.
- Good computer skills, and ERP working knowledge are preferred. Basic stock-taking procedure and knowledge.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.
