Head of Sales
Description
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Sales to lead and drive the sales operations across Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania. The ideal candidate will be a results-oriented leader with a proven track record of achieving sales targets, building high-performing teams, and driving business growth in the East African market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania, aligned with the company’s growth objectives.
- Build, inspire, and manage a cross-regional sales team to deliver outstanding results.
- Expand the company’s presence by identifying and securing new market opportunities in these regions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with major clients, ensuring a client-centric approach to business growth.
- Analyze market trends and customer feedback to refine sales strategies and offerings.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and adapt strategies to the unique business environments of each region.
- Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports to senior management.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or Business; Master’s degree is an advantage.
- 8+ years of sales leadership experience, preferably with a background in emerging markets.
- Proven success in managing diverse teams across multiple countries.
- Strong business acumen and an ability to adapt to different cultural and regulatory contexts.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
