Description

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Sales to lead and drive the sales operations across Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania. The ideal candidate will be a results-oriented leader with a proven track record of achieving sales targets, building high-performing teams, and driving business growth in the East African market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania, aligned with the company’s growth objectives.
  • Build, inspire, and manage a cross-regional sales team to deliver outstanding results.
  • Expand the company’s presence by identifying and securing new market opportunities in these regions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with major clients, ensuring a client-centric approach to business growth.
  • Analyze market trends and customer feedback to refine sales strategies and offerings.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and adapt strategies to the unique business environments of each region.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports to senior management.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or Business; Master’s degree is an advantage.
  • 8+ years of sales leadership experience, preferably with a background in emerging markets.
  • Proven success in managing diverse teams across multiple countries.
  • Strong business acumen and an ability to adapt to different cultural and regulatory contexts.
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
