Key Responsibilities:

• Verify patient eligibility for medical insurance coverage using payor websites and other verification tools.
• Communicate with insurance companies and healthcare providers via inbound and outbound calls to confirm benefits and coverage details.
• Update and maintain accurate records of eligibility information in medical billing software.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies in insurance coverage.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving eligibility issues promptly.
• Prepare and analyze reports on eligibility verification activities as needed.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations during all verification processes.

Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience in medical insurance eligibility verification.
• Familiarity with medical billing software and related systems.
• Experience with payor websites is highly beneficial.
• Outstanding phone communication skills for both inbound and outbound calls.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel 365 and other Microsoft Office tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under deadlines.
