Inventory Officer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Inventory Officer to manage and oversee our inventory operations. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate record-keeping, proper stock levels, and the smooth movement of goods to meet the company’s operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records, including stock levels, deliveries, and stock discrepancies.
• Ensure proper storage and labeling of inventory to facilitate efficient tracking and retrieval.
• Conduct regular stock audits and reconciliations to ensure data accuracy.
• Collaborate with the procurement and sales teams to forecast inventory needs and prevent overstock or shortages.
• Implement inventory control procedures to reduce wastage, theft, and loss.
• Use inventory management software and systems to track and report inventory movements.
• Manage and coordinate incoming and outgoing stock deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
• Maintain compliance with safety and organizational standards within the store/warehouse.
• Prepare regular inventory reports for management review.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Procurement and Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
• Certification in inventory management is a plus.
• Proven experience in storekeeping, inventory management, or supply chain management.
• Strong knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with inventory management software and systems.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must be above 30 years of age.
