Shop Attendant (Meru, Kisii)

Our client who is in animal feeds manufacturing company is seeking to hire a sales Representative for Kisii, Limuru, Murang'a and Meru regions.

ROLE: SALES REP

Reporting line: This role reports to the GENERAL MANAGER.

JOB PURPOSE

This position is responsible for responsible for selling products and meeting customer needs while obtaining orders from existing or potential sales outlets. They are expected to use their knowledge of company products or services to connect with consumers and generate sales for their employer.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (not All-inclusive)

• Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
• Perform cost•benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
• Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
• Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
• Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
• Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
• Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
• Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports
• Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and
• Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
• Continuously improve through Feedback
• Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
• Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
• Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
• Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
• Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
• Ability to travel at least 25% of the time to customer events

Knowledge and Qualifications

• Professional qualification in a relevant field; Diploma is an added advantage
• Proven work experience as a sales representative
• .Valid Driving and motorcycle licence

Experience

• At least 2-3 years proven work experience as a sales Rep within a similar
• Thorough knowledge of customer service, office management and basic bookkeeping
• Ability to use Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Access and
• Superior verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on tack and diplomacy

Standard Minimum Qualifications

Education: Diploma in sales , Marketing, or related field.
