Financial Accountant

The Financial Accountant is responsible for financial reporting, tax compliance, treasury management, and ensuring internal controls. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial management within a multinational environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly management reports, annual financial statements, and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Tax Compliance: Manage VAT, PAYE, corporate taxes, and liaise with tax authorities to address queries promptly.
• Treasury Management: Monitor liquidity in local and foreign currencies, prepare cash flow reports, and ensure compliance with treasury policies.
• General Ledger Maintenance: Perform reconciliations, manage journal entries, and oversee month-end and year-end closures.
• Accounts Payable/Receivable:Ensure supplier payments and customer collections adhere to agreed terms, and maintain error-free records.
• Payroll Management: Ensure timely salary payments, statutory deductions, and compliance with internal controls.

Requirements for the job

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA/ACCA certified.
• Experience: 3-5 years in a multinational company with multi-currency operations.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of SAP, advanced Excel, and tax compliance
• Attributes: Exceptional communication skills, cross-functional collaboration, and leadership abilities.
