Accountant

The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with tax and regulatory requirements. This role involves analyzing financial data, managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing budgets, and ensuring the organization’s financial health.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintain and manage bookkeeping activities, ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial records.
2. Compile and present accurate monthly and annual financial statements.
3. Assist in tax audits and prepare timely tax returns to ensure compliance with tax regulations.
4. Analyze financial information to summarize the organization's financial status and performance.
5. Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
6. Prepare budget forecasts to guide strategic financial planning.
7. Ensure timely and accurate bank payments and reconciliations.
8. Comply with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory standards to maintain organizational integrity.

What We’re Looking For:

Qualifications and Experience:

• Education: CPA (K) or equivalent certification.
• Experience: A minimum of 4 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.

Skills and Competencies:

• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and tax laws.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in financial reporting.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
