Human Resource Manager (NGO)

Description

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Human Resource Manager to lead our HR department. The ideal candidate will be skilled in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and training & development, while ensuring compliance with policies and fostering a safe and engaging workplace. This role requires a strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to managing people and driving organizational success.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Talent Acquisition:

    • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
    • Oversee the hiring process, including interviewing, selection, and onboarding.
  2. Employee Relations:

    • Act as a liaison between employees and management to foster a positive work environment.
    • Handle employee concerns, mediate disputes, and ensure fair treatment.
  3. Performance Management:

    • Design and implement performance appraisal systems that align with organizational goals.
    • Provide coaching and feedback to employees and managers to drive performance improvements.
  4. Training & Development:

    • Identify skill gaps and create training programs to support employee development.
    • Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
  5. Compliance & Policies:

    • Ensure adherence to company policies and compliance with labor laws and regulations.
    • Regularly review and update HR policies to align with best practices and legal standards.
  6. Safety & Wellness:

    • Promote workplace safety and wellness initiatives to enhance employee well-being.
    • Develop and implement health and safety policies, ensuring a secure work environment.

  • Talent Acquisition: Expertise in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding top talent.
  • Employee Relations: Strong skills in conflict resolution, mediation, and maintaining positive workplace dynamics.
  • Performance Management: Proven ability to drive results through effective performance appraisals and feedback systems.
  • Training & Development: Experience in designing and delivering impactful employee training programs.
  • Compliance & Policies: Comprehensive knowledge of HR regulations, labor laws, and policy development.
  • Safety & Wellness: Commitment to creating a safe and healthy workplace.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, including 3+ years in a managerial role.
  • Proven expertise in HR strategy and employee relations.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
  • Exposure to global organizations and multicultural environments is a plus.
