Position Summary:

The Human Resource Manager will oversee and manage the HR functions for a 4/5-star hotel under the Dusit International brand. This individual will be responsible for ensuring a people-centered approach in all HR operations, aligning with the company’s mission and Thai-inspired values. The HR Manager will play a critical role in employee relations, talent management, compliance, and fostering a supportive work environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. HR Strategy and Planning

    • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the hotel's goals and Dusit International's global standards.
    • Forecast and manage workforce planning needs, ensuring optimal staffing levels across departments.
  2. Employee Relations

    • Cultivate a positive workplace culture, resolving conflicts and fostering open communication.
    • Ensure compliance with labor laws, employment regulations, and company policies.
  3. Talent Acquisition and Retention

    • Lead recruitment efforts, ensuring timely hiring of qualified talent for all roles.
    • Develop and implement retention strategies to reduce employee turnover.
    • Oversee onboarding processes to integrate new employees effectively.
  4. Performance Management

    • Manage performance appraisal systems to ensure fair evaluations and career development opportunities.
    • Develop and monitor KPIs for employees, aligning with organizational objectives.
  5. Compensation and Benefits

    • Design and implement competitive compensation and benefits packages.
    • Manage payroll and ensure accuracy and timely processing.
  6. Training and Development

    • Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
    • Promote professional growth opportunities through workshops, mentorship, and coaching.
  7. HR Administration and Systems

    • Maintain accurate employee records and manage HR systems efficiently.
    • Ensure compliance with internal audit requirements and external reporting standards.
  8. Compliance and Legal Matters

    • Ensure adherence to local labor laws, health, and safety regulations.
    • Act as the primary liaison with legal counsel for HR-related matters.
  9. Leadership and Collaboration

    • Partner with department heads to address HR needs and align HR strategies with business objectives.
    • Lead the HR team in delivering excellence and fostering a culture of hospitality.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) and/or a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management.
  • Member of the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM) in good standing.
  • Proven managerial experience with a minimum of 5 years in a 4/5-star hotel.
  • Strong expertise in Employee Relations, Performance Management, Talent Acquisition & Retention, Compensation & Benefits, Employment Law, and Compliance.
  • Excellence in Administration, Payroll, and HR Systems.
  • Great interpersonal skills with outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
  • A people-oriented approach with the ability to inspire trust and foster collaboration.
