Role Summary:

  • We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Manager to oversee sales operations in the South Rift region. The ideal candidate will lead a team of sales representatives, drive revenue growth, and ensure the company's objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve regional targets and revenue growth.
  • Manage and motivate a team of sales representatives to ensure high performance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Monitor market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and analysis to senior management.
  • Ensure timely and accurate execution of promotional activities and initiatives.
  • Oversee stock levels and coordinate with the supply chain to meet demand in the region.

​​​​​​​Key Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in FMCG sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Familiarity with the South Rift region and its market dynamics is an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office
