Description
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to join our team in Kisii. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in FMCG sales, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and building lasting customer relationships. Knowledge of fintech will be an added advantage, as the role may involve promoting integrated financial solutions to our clients.
The Sales Executive will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding our market presence, and ensuring excellent customer satisfaction within the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Growth:
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand the customer base.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs and competitor activities.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and effectively.
Product Knowledge:
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of FMCG products and services.
- Educate customers on product features, benefits, and pricing.
- Stay updated on industry trends and product developments.
Fintech Integration (Added Advantage):
- Promote and explain fintech solutions (e.g., mobile payment systems, digital wallets) to clients where applicable.
- Collaborate with the fintech team to integrate financial solutions into the sales process.
Reporting and Administration:
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports, including sales performance, market trends, and competitor analysis.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure product availability.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with the marketing and distribution teams to execute sales strategies.
- Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and promotional events.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in FMCG sales, preferably in Kisii or the surrounding regions.
- Strong understanding of the FMCG industry, including market dynamics and customer behavior.
- Knowledge of fintech solutions and their application in sales will be an added advantage.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
