We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Marketer Officer with expertise in both traditional and digital marketing to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the retail and FMCG industry, strong leadership skills, and the ability to set up and manage a marketing department, including budget allocation. This role requires a strategic thinker who can drive brand growth, customer engagement, and sales through innovative marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that integrate both traditional and digital marketing channels.
- Manage and lead a marketing team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
- Set up and structure the marketing department, including defining roles, processes, and workflows.
- Allocate and manage the marketing budget effectively to maximize ROI.
- Plan and implement campaigns to promote products and services, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities to identify opportunities.
- Oversee the creation of marketing materials, including print, digital, and social media content.
- Collaborate with sales, product development, and other departments to ensure cohesive brand messaging.
- Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, using data to optimize future efforts.
- Build and maintain relationships with media partners, agencies, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies in all marketing activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Sales and Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on both traditional and digital channels.
- Proven experience in the retail and FMCG industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a team.
- Experience in setting up a marketing department, including budget planning and allocation.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing).
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
