CCTV Controller

We are seeking a highly observant and detail-oriented CCTV Controller to monitor sales activities, ensure security, and provide accurate reports. The ideal candidate will have a certificate or diploma in a related field, along with experience in surveillance systems. This role is critical in maintaining the safety and integrity of our retail operations while supporting sales monitoring and loss prevention efforts.

Key Responsibilities

1. Surveillance Monitoring:

   • Operate and monitor CCTV systems to observe sales activities, customer behavior, and staff performance.

   • Ensure all areas of the retail premises are under surveillance and identify any suspicious activities.

2. Reporting:

   • Prepare detailed reports on sales trends, incidents, and security breaches.

   • Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports to management as required.

3. Loss Prevention:

   • Identify and report potential theft, fraud, or other security risks.

   • Collaborate with the loss prevention team to address and resolve issues.

4. System Maintenance:

   • Ensure CCTV equipment is functioning properly and report any technical issues.

   • Maintain records of surveillance footage as per company policy.

5. Compliance:

   • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and legal requirements related to surveillance and data protection.

Qualifications

• Education: Certificate or Diploma in Security Management, Criminology, IT, or a related field.

• Experience:

  • Prior experience in CCTV monitoring, preferably in a retail or security environment.

  • Familiarity with surveillance systems and software.

• Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and observational skills.

  • Ability to analyze and interpret surveillance footage.

  • Good communication and report-writing skills.

  • Basic technical knowledge of CCTV systems.

• Other Requirements:

  • High level of integrity and confidentiality.

  • Ability to work in shifts, including nights and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of retail operations and sales processes.
• Experience in loss prevention or inventory control.
