We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Cashier with a background in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or a related field to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily cash transactions, supporting accurate financial reporting, and ensuring smooth and compliant cashier operations. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to broader HR and finance initiatives such as process automation, data management, and performance tracking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, record, and reconcile cash and electronic transactions in compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
  • Issue receipts, handle customer inquiries professionally, and maintain accurate transaction records.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cash reports to support finance team activities.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate employee and transaction data in financial systems, enhancing real-time reporting and decision-making.
  • Support the implementation of automated systems to streamline leave requests, petty cash handling, and expense tracking.
  • Contribute to performance tracking by collecting data and participating in internal audits and reconciliations.
  • Maintain organized filing systems for financial records, receipts, and supporting documents for audit readiness.
  • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to support administrative functions such as payroll data collection and benefits tracking.
  • Uphold company standards in customer service, confidentiality, and cash handling procedures.
  • Participate in training sessions and process improvement initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and financial software such as QuickBooks, Tally, or ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle transactions with integrity, efficiency, and confidentiality.
  • Experience with HR systems, record management, or payroll is an added advantage.
  • Demonstrated initiative in improving administrative processes or financial accuracy.
