Link2Care is a social enterprise based in Nairobi, Kenya, committed to advancing maternal healthcare in Kenya. We provide affordable, accessible, and high-quality ultrasound and point-of- care testing (POCT) services to underserved communities, ensuring that no mother is left behind.
We currently collaborate with 30+ health facilities across Nairobi, reaching over 500 expectant mothers in low-income communities with essential antenatal care services and health education. By combining innovation with compassion, we aim to close the maternal health gap and build healthier futures for mothers and their babies.
The Finance Officer (Cashier) will support our team by ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant management of day-to-day cash transactions, payment processing, and financial documentation. This person will play a crucial role in maintaining our internal financial discipline and supporting smooth clinic operations across all our partner sites.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Handle cash receipts and disbursements, including staff reimbursements and petty cash
- Perform bank reconciliations and update daily cash journals
- Support invoice verification, document review, and payment documentation
- Assist in company account transactions via online banking platforms
- Maintain organized, audit-ready financial files and vouchers
- Collaborate with the team to ensure compliance with internal finance protocols
REǪUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a cashier, finance assistant, or treasury clerk
- Experience using financial software (e.g., Kingdee, ǪuickBooks, ERP)
- Background in finance-related studies: diploma or above in accounting, auditing, or related fields
- A CPA I / ACCA certification is a plus, but not required
