Alpha Kenya is a leading service provider dedicated to excellence in procurement, supply chain management, and operational efficiency. We are seeking a motivated Procurement Intern to join our team in Mombasa.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in sourcing and procuring goods and services in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Support the preparation and processing of purchase orders and requisitions.
  • Assist in supplier identification, evaluation, and management.
  • Help maintain accurate procurement records and update supplier databases.
  • Participate in price comparisons, vendor negotiations, and market surveys.
  • Track and follow up on orders to ensure timely delivery.
  • Assist with stock management and inventory reconciliation.
  • Ensure procurement documentation is complete, accurate, and filed appropriately.
  • Provide administrative support to the procurement department as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Diploma or Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and Word).
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Eager to learn, proactive, and flexible.
