HR and Administration Officer
Description
Freds Ranch and Resort is seeking a competent and dynamic HR and Administration Officer to oversee all aspects of human resources practices and administrative functions. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth running of HR processes, support employee development, and maintain efficient administrative systems aligned with the resort’s operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources Duties:
Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes.
Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
Develop and implement HR policies in compliance with labor laws.
Coordinate performance management and staff appraisals.
Support employee engagement, welfare, and conflict resolution.
Organize staff training and development initiatives.
Monitor attendance, leave management, and staff discipline.
Administrative Duties:
Oversee office operations and ensure efficient administrative support.
Manage resort licenses, contracts, and statutory compliance records.
Coordinate internal communications and ensure proper document filing.
Monitor use and maintenance of office supplies and assets.
Assist in planning meetings, events, and staff activities.
Liaise with vendors and service providers for administrative services.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in HR and administrative roles, preferably in the hospitality industry.
Knowledge of Kenyan labor laws and HR best practices.
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
High integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
Proficient in MS Office and HR software systems.
