Finance Assistant

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Finance Assistant to support our accounting and finance operations.

Job Summary:

The Finance Assistant will play a vital role in supporting day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with internal and external audits, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in daily bookkeeping and preparation of financial documents.

• Record and reconcile financial transactions in the accounting system.

• Support the preparation of monthly financial reports and bank reconciliations.

• Process invoices, receipts, and payments accurately and on time.

• Assist with payroll processing and statutory filings (e.g., PAYE, NHIF, NSSF, VAT).

• Support internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation.

• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and filing systems.

• Provide support in budget tracking and expense reporting.

• Ensure compliance with company financial policies and relevant regulations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• CPA-K qualification or a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• At least 2 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or audit.

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar).

• Strong knowledge of Kenyan tax laws and financial regulations.

• High attention to detail and accuracy.

• Good analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong ethics and integrity.
