Data Entry Clerk

Timberworld.co.ke is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining data across various systems. This role requires strong typing abilities, a good grasp of Microsoft Excel, and basic accounting knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
Enter financial and operational data into spreadsheets, databases, and company ERP systems with a high degree of accuracy.
Maintain and update records related to inventory, sales, purchases, and expenses.
Assist the accounting team with data entry for reconciliations, invoicing, and financial reports.
Prepare and generate basic Excel reports using formulas like SUM, VLOOKUP, and IF.
Verify data for accuracy and completeness and correct errors when detected.
Organize and maintain digital and physical filing systems.
Support administrative tasks as assigned by the Finance or Operations Department.
Qualifications and Skills:
Diploma in Accounting and Finance or a related field.
CPA Part I or higher qualification will be an added advantage.
Excellent typing skills with attention to detail and speed.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including basic formulas such as SUM, VLOOKUP, IF, etc.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
