Sales Representative

Our client, a reputable hotel located along Mombasa Road in Nairobi, is seeking to hire a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business, maintaining existing relationships, and promoting the hotel’s services to clients in the travel, events, and corporate sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the hospitality market.
• Actively promote the hotel’s services to corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, and other potential partners.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
• Prepare and present tailored proposals, negotiate contracts, and close sales deals.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences and event coordination.
• Maintain a database of key contacts and regularly update client records and sales activities.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify strategic business opportunities.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets as set by the management.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Sales & Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a sales role within the hospitality industry.
• Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• A strong network of contacts within the travel, corporate, or events industry is a distinct advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic CRM software is desirable.
