Ivory Health Solutions is seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing patient needs, administering treatments, and ensuring compassionate care in line with professional nursing standards. This role requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and document medical histories.
  • Administer medications, injections, and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Assist in diagnostic tests, wound care, and minor medical procedures.
  • Monitor and manage patients with chronic conditions (e.g., diabetes, hypertension).
  • Provide pre- and post-operative care for surgical patients.
  • Educate patients and families on disease prevention, treatment plans, and healthy lifestyles.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Ensure infection control protocols and safety standards are strictly followed.
  • Collaborate with doctors, clinical officers, and other healthcare staff for coordinated patient care.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid when necessary.
  • Participate in health outreach programs and community initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Diploma or Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution.
  • Valid license from the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK).
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience (preferred but open to fresh graduates).
  • Strong knowledge of patient care, medication administration, and emergency procedures.
  • Excellent communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Electronic Health Records).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in hospital, clinic, or maternity settings.
  • Additional training in ICU, pediatric, or community health nursing.
  • Knowledge of NHIF and private health insurance billing processes.
