Job Summary

The Revenue Accountant will be responsible for ensuring the accurate recording, reconciliation, and reporting of the hospital’s revenue streams. This role is critical for maintaining financial integrity, supporting compliance, and optimizing revenue collection processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately record and reconcile revenue from multiple service points, including inpatient, outpatient, and ancillary services.
  • Prepare detailed income reports, conduct variance analysis, and provide insights for financial decision-making.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of daily receipts and bank deposits.
  • Oversee and supervise cashier teams to ensure proper handling of front-office collections.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and improve revenue collection processes.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to internal controls for all financial data.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • CPA qualification (minimum Section 4).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within a medium to large organization.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and hospital management systems.
