Accountant

A reputable hospital in Nairobi is seeking a qualified and results-driven Accountant to join its finance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the hospital’s financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and effective financial planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day financial transactions including receivables, payables, and reconciliations.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (e.g., VAT, PAYE, NHIF, NSSF).
• Maintain updated financial records and support audit processes.
• Contribute to financial controls and ensure adherence to accounting standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field.
• At least 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a healthcare or hospital environment.
• CPA Level II or higher.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.
