Description
A reputable hospital in Nairobi is seeking a qualified and results-driven Accountant to join its finance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the hospital’s financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and effective financial planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial transactions including receivables, payables, and reconciliations.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (e.g., VAT, PAYE, NHIF, NSSF).
- Maintain updated financial records and support audit processes.
- Contribute to financial controls and ensure adherence to accounting standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field.
- At least 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a healthcare or hospital environment.
- CPA Level II or higher.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
