A leading hotel in Nairobi is seeking a dynamic and well-versed Human Resource Officer to support and enhance its HR functions. This role is ideal for an HR professional passionate about employee engagement, compliance, and organizational culture in the hospitality sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes.
- Coordinate staff training, development, and performance evaluations.
- Maintain accurate HR records and manage employee files and databases.
- Ensure compliance with Kenyan labor laws and internal HR policies.
- Handle employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary processes professionally.
- Administer payroll inputs, leave management, and statutory contributions.
- Support the hotel’s management with HR reports and insights.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
- Active membership with the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM) is mandatory.
- Proven experience working in a hospitality or hotel environment.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in HR systems and MS Office Suite.
