Laboratory Technologist – 2 Positions

Deanesh Hospital is seeking to recruit two (2) qualified Laboratory Technologists to join our diagnostic team in Nairobi. The ideal candidates will be responsible for conducting laboratory tests, analyzing results, and supporting accurate diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, label, and analyze patient samples (blood, urine, stool, etc.)
• Conduct laboratory tests and procedures in hematology, microbiology, biochemistry, and parasitology
• Ensure quality control and accurate documentation of test results
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure timely calibration and servicing
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and infection control policies
• Prepare reports and communicate findings to physicians or clinical staff
• Maintain an organized, clean, and well-stocked laboratory environment

Qualifications and Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences from a recognized institution
• Registered and licensed by the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board (KMLTTB)
• Minimum of 2 years of working experience in a clinical laboratory setting
• Strong knowledge of laboratory instruments, test procedures, and safety practices
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
