Jirani Smart is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Procurement and Logistics Officer to manage purchasing, supply chain, and inventory operations at the branch level. The ideal candidate will oversee store management, supplier coordination, and ensure efficient delivery of goods while adhering to procurement standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee stores management, inventory control, and accurate record-keeping
- Manage purchases and delivery logistics across various branches
- Maintain and update procurement systems and client platforms
- Conduct market surveys to assess product viability and supplier competitiveness
- Ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services
- Support budgeting, cost control, and vendor performance evaluations
- Collaborate with internal teams to forecast needs and manage inventory levels
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and standards
Qualifications and Requirements
- Degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management or related field
- Minimum mean KCSE grade of B- and at least a B- in Mathematics
- Prior experience in procurement and logistics is an added advantage
- Strong communication, negotiation, and marketing skills
- Excellent inventory management and resource planning abilities
- Proficiency in procurement systems and data analysis
