Farm Supervisor

Farm Supervisor at Keitt Exporters Ltd to oversee day-to-day operations at our avocado farm in Embu. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in avocado farming and strong leadership skills to manage a small farm team efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Manage avocado crop cycles, including planting, maintenance, and harvesting
• Implement pest control, pesticide, fertiliser, and fertigation programs
• Maintain farm infrastructure and equipment
• Monitor and improve crop yields
• Supervise farm workers and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
• Prepare daily activity and production reports

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in avocado farming
• Strong knowledge of pests, pesticides, fertilisers, and crop nutrition
• Good understanding of harvesting schedules and crop management
• Basic computer literacy (email, Excel, reports)
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Valid driver’s licence
• Must be willing to relocate and live full-time on the farm in Embu
