Dispatch Officer

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Dispatch Officer to oversee dispatch operations and ensure efficient coordination of goods and services. The ideal candidate should have at least three years of active experience in dispatch handling and customer care. Men aged 30-40 years are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Dispatch Coordination:

   • Organize and schedule dispatch activities to ensure timely delivery of goods.
   • Monitor transportation and delivery schedules to ensure compliance with deadlines.

2. Customer Service:

   • Maintain strong communication with clients to provide updates on deliveries.
   • Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns efficiently.

3. Inventory Management:

   • Verify dispatch documents and ensure the accuracy of orders being shipped.
   • Track stock levels and coordinate with warehouse teams for smooth operations.

4. Team Collaboration:

   • Work closely with drivers, warehouse staff, and the operations team to maintain seamless logistics processes.
   • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures during dispatch.

5. Reporting and Documentation:

   • Maintain records of dispatched goods, delivery schedules, and customer interactions.
   • Prepare regular reports on dispatch performance and logistics operations.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Education:

  • Certificate or Diploma in a related field such as Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration.

• Experience:

  • Minimum of 3+ active years in dispatch handling and customer care.
  • Proven ability to manage logistics and dispatch activities effectively.

• Skills:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in using dispatch management systems or related software.

• Other Requirements:

  • Male applicants aged 30–40 years are encouraged to apply.
  • Candidates based in Nakuru or willing to relocate will have an added advantage.
