Business Development Officers – Fintech Industry

Our client, a leading company in the fintech industry specializing in consumer loans for product purchases, is seeking proactive and results-oriented Business Development Officers. The ideal candidates will drive growth, foster partnerships, and promote the company’s lending solutions to customers across Nairobi and other counties.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and onboard new business partners and clients to expand the company’s customer base.
• Promote and sell the company’s loan products to individual and corporate clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Develop and execute strategies to achieve set sales and revenue targets.
• Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and trends in the fintech and consumer lending industry.
• Educate clients on the company’s lending processes, terms, and benefits, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address client needs and ensure seamless service delivery.
• Prepare and present regular performance reports, including updates on client acquisition, revenue growth, and market trends.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably in the fintech or financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of consumer lending processes and market dynamics.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-centric approach.
• Willingness to travel within assigned counties as needed.

Other Requirements

• Experience in building and maintaining partnerships with retailers or product suppliers is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with local markets and customer behaviors in Nairobi and other counties is highly desirable.
