Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team at Tarra Agility Africa. Under the supervision of the Partner & CFO, the Accountant will be responsible for the day-to-day financial operations of the company. This role focuses on maintaining accurate financial records, managing cash flow, and ensuring that all accounting processes are completed on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable to ensure timely invoicing and payment of bills.

• Monitor customer accounts and follow up on outstanding payments to maintain healthy cash flow.

• Maintain daily and accurate bookkeeping records for all financial transactions.

• Manage and reconcile petty cash funds.

• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and ensure compliance with internal policies.

• Use accounting software to record data and generate reports efficiently.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting.

• CPA Part II / Section 4 completed, or the ACCA equivalent.

• 1 to 3 years of practical accounting experience.

• Proficiency in using accounting software packages.
