Accountant Job

Our client in the Healthcare (Pharmacy) sector is looking to hire an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, reports, and general ledgers
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Reconcile bank and other financial statements
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies
• Prepare and file tax returns; assist with audits
• Monitor and manage daily cash flow
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Maintain internal financial controls and procedures
• Collaborate with external auditors and provide necessary financial documentation

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA (Certified Public Accountant) qualification or equivalent preferred
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar accounting role, preferably within the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
