Accountant Receivable/Credit Controller

Checkups Medical Centre is a leading healthcare provider committed to delivering accessible, affordable, and quality medical services. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled and results-driven Accountant Receivable/Credit Controller to join our finance team and support our revenue cycle management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage collections from clients and ensure timely follow-up on overdue accounts.

• Reconcile clients’ statement of accounts and maintain positive relationships with debtors.

• Oversee the Accounts Receivable process, including credit assessments, monitoring aging reports, and monthly reconciliations.

• Conduct risk analysis and ensure credit limits and payment terms are adhered to.

• Forecast and monitor cash flow from receivables to support financial planning.

• Enforce compliance with applicable accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and internal financial policies.

• Prepare and present regular reports on accounts receivable status and collection performance to management.

• Collaborate with internal departments (billing, customer service, insurance claims) to resolve account discrepancies.

• Handle escalated debt collection cases, particularly with insurance providers.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

• At least 3 years of proven experience in credit control, preferably in the healthcare or insurance sector.

• Strong experience with ERP systems (Sage) and Advanced Microsoft Excel.

• In-depth understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

• Demonstrated success in debt collection and negotiation.

• High attention to detail, strong organizational and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for dealing with clients and internal teams.
