Accounts and Administration Officer
Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts and Administration Officer to oversee key financial and administrative operations. The role involves ensuring accuracy in stock management, sales tracking, reconciliations, and supporting operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, analytical ability, and a problem-solving mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
Stock Management:
- Confirm stock accuracy before dispatch to shops.
- Liaise with the procurement team on stock adjustments and ensure these are properly captured, documented, and filed in coordination with accounts.
Sales Management:
- Follow up on daily delivery of sales receipts from the airport to the office.
- Capture daily sales in the Google Sheets system.
- Compute sales agents’ commissions accurately and on time.
- Address and provide solutions to sales issues raised by the shops, reporting them to accounts for resolution.
Financial Analysis and Reconciliations:
- Perform debit/credit analysis and reconcile discrepancies.
- Conduct card reconciliations and handle Equity settlements.
Operations Support:
- Monitor and manage car tracking systems to ensure effective vehicle usage.
- Assist in monthly stock take exercises at MIA and JKIA.
- Perform stock take analysis and provide actionable insights.
Administrative Duties:
- Handle additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by senior management.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification is required.
- Proven experience in a similar role, with a focus on stock management and reconciliations.
- Strong proficiency in Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, and other office applications.
- Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
