Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify and process patient billing in accordance with hospital tariffs and insurance schemes
- Prepare accurate invoices, credit notes, and billing reports
- Liaise with insurance companies and SHA on claims and reconciliations
- Maintain accurate records of billing transactions and patient accounts
- Collaborate with finance and health records departments to resolve billing discrepancies
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Health Records and Information Technology (must have studied Health Records)
- Minimum 3 years' billing experience, preferably in a hospital/healthcare setting
- Sound knowledge of medical insurance billing (SHA, private insurers)
- Strong numerical, analytical, and reconciliation skills
- Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines
