Collections Officer

Are you a proactive and detail-oriented professional with a knack for client engagement and debt recovery? Baron Capital Limited is seeking a Collections Officer to join our team and ensure effective management of overdue accounts while maintaining positive client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Loan Recovery:
- Conduct follow-ups with clients on overdue loans via calls, messages, and field visits.
- Negotiate payment plans that align with clients' financial situations.
Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate and updated records of loan repayments, collections progress, and client interactions.
- Monitor client accounts for discrepancies and take appropriate follow-up actions.
Client Engagement:
- Address client concerns and offer tailored solutions for repayment.
- Assist clients in understanding how to manage their finances and maintain good credit standing.
Reporting and Escalation:
- Provide regular updates on collection status and recovery performance to management.
- Escalate unresolved issues promptly and suggest actionable solutions.
Strategy and Compliance:
- Develop and implement strategies to minimize outstanding debts and improve recovery rates.
- Ensure compliance with legal regulations and company policies during all collection activities.
Requirements:
Education and Experience:
- Prior experience in collections or customer service is advantageous.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts.
- Positive attitude and problem-solving mindset.
