Commercial Accountant

A dynamic organization is seeking a sharp, detail-oriented Commercial Accountant to join their finance team and drive business growth. In this role, you will bridge the gap between financial reporting and commercial strategy—providing actionable insights that support operational decision-making and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Management: Prepare accurate financial statements, manage budgets, and conduct variance analysis to support strategic business decisions.

• Commercial Insights: Monitor key performance metrics, optimize cash flow, and identify cost-saving opportunities to enhance profitability.

• Tax & Compliance: Handle statutory returns (VAT, WHT, PAYE) and ensure full compliance with all regulatory standards.

• Cross-Functional Support: Partner with operational departments to review commercial contracts, improve internal controls, and streamline financial processes.

Minimum Specifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a business-related field.

• Professional Qualification: CPA-K or ACCA finalist with active membership.

• Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in management accounting, commercial finance, or a similar role.

• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and hands-on experience working with modern ERP systems.
