Credit Officer

Platinum Credit Ltd is seeking a results-driven and customer-focused Credit Officer to evaluate, process, and monitor loan applications. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing client relationships, assessing creditworthiness, and ensuring timely loan disbursement and repayment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Market loan products to potential customers and achieve set sales targets.
• Conduct client assessments, verify documents, and evaluate creditworthiness.
• Process loan applications in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Monitor the repayment of disbursed loans and follow up on arrears.
• Maintain accurate records of client data and loan portfolio performance.
• Offer financial advice and customer support throughout the loan cycle.
• Identify potential risks and recommend appropriate risk mitigation measures.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in credit, sales, or a financial institution (experience in microfinance is an added advantage).
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet set targets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
