Credit Verifier – Fintech

A fast-growing fintech company dedicated to providing accessible and innovative financial solutions is seeking to hire a Credit Verifier to join their team in Kisii. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with experience in the fintech or microfinance space to contribute to a dynamic and customer-focused organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify the accuracy and authenticity of borrower information and documentation during the loan application process.
• Conduct background checks, credit analysis, and risk assessments to determine creditworthiness.
• Liaise with clients to obtain missing or additional information required for credit assessment.
• Ensure all credit verification processes comply with internal policies and regulatory standards.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all verifications conducted.
• Provide feedback and recommendations to the credit assessment team based on findings.
• Collaborate with the sales team to support efficient customer onboarding and approval processes.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in the fintech, loan, or microfinance industry is required.
• Previous experience in sales will be considered an added advantage.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with credit verification systems/tools.
