Data Entry Clerks

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional to join our finance team. The ideal candidate possesses a strong foundation in accountancy principles combined with advanced technical skills in data processing. You will be responsible for managing financial data with speed and precision, ensuring accuracy in all reporting and reconciliation tasks. Given the nature of our operations, flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately input and process high volumes of financial data into company systems, maintaining a speed of 200 characters per minute (CPM) with 100% accuracy.

• Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills to manage spreadsheets, perform lookups (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP), and execute conditional sums (SUMIF/S).

• Assist in the preparation of financial reports, reconciliations, and summaries.

• Follow established protocols and instructions to draw logical conclusions from data sets.

• Collaborate with the team to ensure data integrity and troubleshoot discrepancies.

• Adapt to various shift schedules as required to support business continuity.

• Perform other relevant tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or any related business course.

• Experience: At least 2 years of work experience in a relevant role is an advantage (Fresh graduates with the right technical skills are encouraged to apply).

• Technical Skills:

  • Typing Proficiency: Must be able to type at 200 characters per minute (CPM) with 100% accuracy (A practical test will be administered).

  • Excel Expertise: Advanced proficiency required, specifically with formulas such as VLOOKUP, SUMIF, Pivot Tables, and basic macros.

  • Strong working knowledge of the entire Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

• Soft Skills:

  • High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

  • Strong analytical and logical reasoning abilities.

  • Patience and a willingness to undergo training and development.

  • Ability to follow instructions meticulously.

Additional Requirements

• Location: Candidates must currently reside in Kitengela or Athi River or be willing to relocate immediately.

• Shift Flexibility: Must be willing to work flexible hours, including night shifts, weekends, or holidays as required.
