Debt Collectors

Finley Ltd is looking for results-driven and professional Debt Collectors to join our credit and collections team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for recovering outstanding debts from clients in a timely and respectful manner while maintaining positive customer relationships. Applicants must reside along Mombasa Road, Nairobi, or its immediate surroundings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contact clients via phone, email, or physical visits to follow up on overdue payments
• Negotiate repayment plans in line with company policies
• Keep accurate and detailed records of client interactions, agreements, and payment progress
• Advise customers on their outstanding debts and available payment options
• Escalate unresolved cases to the Collections Supervisor or legal department as required
• Meet individual and team collection targets
• Ensure compliance with debt collection regulations and ethical practices
• Provide regular reports on collection status and challenges

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Minimum KCSE certificate; a diploma in Credit Management, Business, or a related field is an added advantage
• At least 1 year of experience in debt collection or a customer-facing role
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and handle rejection professionally
• Proficient in MS Office and collection software tools
• Must be currently residing along Mombasa Road, Nairobi (e.g., South B, South C, Embakasi, Syokimau, Mlolongo, or nearby areas)
