Finance Manager

Mojadev is a growing player in the electric vehicle industry, committed to innovation and sustainable mobility solutions. We are looking for a Finance Manager to join our team in Nairobi and take charge of our finance, accounting, and office administration functions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage day-to-day financial operations including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger.

• Prepare accurate financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for management.

• Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS standards.

• Oversee office administration functions to support smooth business operations at Mojadev.

• Maintain and reconcile accounting systems (QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or SAP).

• Analyze financial data to support decision-making and improve processes.

• Handle sensitive financial information with integrity and confidentiality.

REQUIREMENTS

Essential (Must-Have):

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Equivalent qualifications (CPA/ACCA Foundation) plus relevant experience will also be considered.

• 2–5 years of experience in combined finance and administration roles.

• Strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS.

• Advanced MS Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, formulas).

• Proficiency with accounting systems (QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or SAP).

• High accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and administrative tasks.

• Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize diverse tasks and meet tight deadlines.

• Clear, professional written and verbal communication.

• Strong problem-solving skills to investigate discrepancies and improve processes.

• Flexible and adaptable in fast-paced, changing environments.
