As we expand, we seek a dynamic and experienced Financial Controller to lead our financial operations and drive strategic growth.

Job Summary

The Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial guidance. This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage financial planning, budgeting, risk management, and financial reporting to support the company’s growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & Reporting

  • Oversee financial operations, including accounting, treasury, and financial reporting.
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations and accounting standards.
  • Conduct financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.

Strategic Planning & Decision Support

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth and expansion.
  • Provide insights and financial modeling to support executive decision-making.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
  • Assess financial risks and implement risk management strategies.

Cash Flow & Treasury Management

  • Monitor and manage the company’s cash flow to ensure financial stability.
  • Oversee investment decisions, banking relationships, and capital allocation.
  • Develop financial policies and procedures to enhance cash flow efficiency.

Tax & Compliance

  • Ensure timely tax filing and compliance with corporate tax regulations.
  • Oversee audits and liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
  • Maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead and mentor the finance team, ensuring professional growth and efficiency.
  • Establish best practices for financial operations and reporting.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align financial goals with business objectives.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
  • CPA, ACCA, or CFA certification required.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in financial management, with at least 3 years in a senior finance role.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and tax regulations.
  • Experience in the technology or consulting industry is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle).
  • Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities.
