Responsibilities
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely reporting in line with accounting standards.
Manage accounts receivable, monitor collections, and prepare aged receivables reports.
Manage accounts payable, process supplier invoices, and ensure timely payments.
Maintain accurate accounting records for machinery sales, leasing and related transactions.
Prepare bank reconciliations and support cash management.
Maintain fixed asset register and ensure proper depreciation and records.
Ensure compliance with tax, VAT, eTIMS and other Statutory requirements.
Support audits and provide accurate financial information to management.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field.
CPA (K) qualification or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
Membership of a recognized professional accounting body will be an added advantage.
At least 4-6 years' relevant accounting experience.
Practical experience with Kenyan tax and statutory compliance.
Experience in machinery, equipment, leasing, construction, transport, trading or related industries will be an advantage.
