Our client, a fast-growing fintech company specializing in the "Stock-Now-Pay-Later" model, is seeking dynamic and self-driven Project Leads to expand its customer base across Kenya. The ideal candidates will have a proven track record in the fintech industry, leadership experience, and the ability to inspire and coach sales teams to achieve exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of sales professionals to drive customer acquisition and retention efforts in assigned regions.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to penetrate new markets and grow the customer base.
  • Train, mentor, and coach sales team members to enhance their skills and performance, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Monitor team performance, providing regular feedback and implementing corrective actions where necessary.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize customer experience and product delivery.
  • Prepare and present progress reports, performance metrics, and market insights to senior management.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in the fintech industry with a strong understanding of its dynamics and customer needs.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading sales teams, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Proficiency in coaching and mentoring sales professionals to enhance productivity.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and results-oriented with a passion for driving business success.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address market challenges effectively.
  • Ability to travel across Kenya to oversee operations and support team activities.
